Considering that the build up to Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios "The Avengers" is in full swing, fans of Earth's Mightiest Heroes are pumped up and can't wait to see the superhero blockbuster film in theaters this May! However, that doesn't mean that the studios can relax and rest easy, as they're busy already on the planning stages for what they call "Phase 2" of their superhero film initiative, which begins with Iron Man 3 next year! Of course, Robert Downey Jr. is onboard and signed up to play Tony Stark once more for the new sequel, which will be directed by Shane Black. Thing is, he won't be the only hero appearing in the movie, and I'm not talking about his friend James "Rhodey" Rhodes/ War Machine either! A fellow Avenger will be appearing alongside ol' shellhead in the movie to help him out, but who it is is the question.

No surprise here! Scarlett Johansson will be reprising her role once more as Natasha Romanoff, aka The Black Widow! I suppose her cover as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts' assistant "Natalie Rushman" is still intact, keeping an eye on the Billionaire Industrialist and Stark Industries for S.H.I.E.L.D and helping her teammate in the new threat he'll be encountering in Iron Man 3! Bleeding Cool reports that Feature Film Casting's announcement featuring details of the production of the movie, which features Ms. Johansson's name during the scheduled May 21st to September 7th shooting schedule!
