The news and announcement of a 4th Season isn't much of a surprise to fans of the series, as George R.R. Martin's epic novel masterpiece is still ongoing with only five books released. Season 3 of GoT is expected to cover roughly the first half of the third book in the series "A Storm of Swords", and with each season covered for 10 episodes each so far, we have more to look forward to before everything is said and done.
