The Wolverine: Coming Soon exclusive interview with director James Mangold

Drumming up the excitement with a few days left until it opens in 3D and conventional theaters, The Wolverine is set to unleash Hugh Jackman once more as the feral mutant, and explore a side of Logan rarely seen that tests his resolve as a warrior and his own immortality. I've been fortunate enough to see the film c/o 20th Century Fox PH, and it's absolutely something to that fans of the X-Men movie franchise should see all the way until the end (and a review to come up very soon).

With the film's nearing in cinemas worldwide, Coming Soon has posted up an exclusive one-on-one interview and feature with director James Mangold, who's proven quite capable on taking on what X-Men movie/s director Bryan Singer started and will continue with X-Men: Days of Future Past next year.

Below is a video reel from the site itself, and you can read the entire interview through the link here, which gives some insight on what direction the film takes Wolverine in, as well as the choices behind including certain elements and themes, as well as why star Hugh Jackman favored Mangold as director for the film.

The Wolverine slashes into theaters on July 25 internationally and July 26 in the US.
