Gamescom 2013: PS4 release date; Batman Arkham Origins, AC IV, and Dead Rising 3



Looks like things got a little interesting in the world of gaming, as a lot titles and a certain upcoming new console have gotten some slick updates to their statuses and new trailers to them!

At the annual Gamescom even held in Germany, many video game developing companies had the chance to show off some neat gameplay trailers and features for the upcoming games. Here are some of them - featuring the likes of Batman: Arkham Origins, Assassin's Creed IV, and even the Xbox One exclusive, Dead Rising 3. The release date of certain titles and a console have been revealed as well.


Starting things off, here's the new "Nowhere to Hide" trailer for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, DC Entertainment, and WB Games Montreal upcoming prequel to the Batman Arkhamverse: Batman: Arkham Origins, featuring interactions between Batman/ Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, James Gordon, and the introduction to the latest assassin hounding the young version of the Dark Knight - Firefly.

And as featured in the screenshot teased a day ago, the Batcave is in the game, and features the Batsuit coming from a hidden floor panel ala the 2012 Christopher Nolan epic final Batman film of his Dark Knight TrilogyThe Dark Knight Rises.

The Sony Playstation 4 will be released on November 15, 2013 in North America, competing with the release date of Microsoft's Xbox One which arrives in the same month.

Konami has also confirmed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 has been confirmed to be released on February 25 2014.

And there you have it so far. The Gamescom runs from August 21-25th in Germany.
