X-Men: Days Of Future Past: Hugh Jackman may play Wolverine for the last time?

It's a stellar time for X-Men fans, as work is finally heading to post production for Bryan Singer's upcoming 2014 sequel to two X-Men timelines with "X-Men: Days Of Future Past". That being said, it may also be the last time Hugh Jackman reprises his signature role of Logan/ Wolverine, the fan favorite feral X-Man who's the best at what he does and is arguably the central figure in the X-Men film franchise.

In an interview with MTV, Jackman recounts that three weeks before filming wrapped up in X-Men: Days of Future Past, it hit him as he returned to the set from promoting this year's spin-off solo X-Flick "The Wolverine". "It may be the last" Jackman says, and if this proves true, then it may be a mighty send-off/ finale for everyone's favorite Australian actor/ X-Man, who's played the role since 2000's X-Men and has been in EVERY film (including a cameo appearance in the prequel flick "X-Men: First Class).

Here's the interview from MTV. For more information, visit the source post at Comic Book.com.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past arrives in theaters on May 23, 2014.
