Forever Evil #2: A familiar Superman: The Movie character is introduced into The New 52

Set to be released this week in comic shops and retailers worldwide, the second issue of DC Comics' first major New 52 event "Forever Evil" picks up where things grimly left off - the villains led by the Earth-3 Crime Syndicate totally taking over the DC Universe. While there's yet to be any other major repercussions revealed other than what happened to Dick Grayson/ Nightwing and what has yet to befall the Teen Titans in this issue, a certain supporting character from Superman: The Movie makes his appearance as well, as shown in the previews as seen in Newsarama....

SPOILER WARNING, so look at your own risk!

Looks like Lex Luthor's going to get some very familiar help for the first time in The New 52, as issue #2 introduces Otis - the bumbling henchman of "the greatest criminal mind of our time" in the classic 1978 film "Superman: The Movie". The character was also reimagined and introduced as security for Luthor in the hit DC Comics Cartoon Young Justice. Now, he's a security guard working for Luthor who just happens to run into his boss while he's escaping for the Crime Syndicate... And it looks like deja vu all over again for this poor fellow.

Catch more action and reveals when Forever Evil hits shops starting October 2nd!
