Marvel Movies: Robert Redford gets Cap 2 poster & Paul Bettany is The Vision in Avengers 2

It's going to be a big run for Marvel Studios in the next two years, and things are just sizzling up in 2014 with the upcoming release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier this March/ April, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy in August. However, things are also stirring up for next year's big superhero movie gathering that is Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, and that sequel to the 2012 blockbuster will not only feature the robot adversary of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but a certain android comrade of the team as well... And it's a familiar face to boot!

So here's some new things and details to ogle over for Cap 2 this year and Avengers 2 on 2015.

Adding to the list of new theatrical posters for the movie, Robert Redford gets his own character one sheet for his part as S.H.I.E.L.D. official Alexander Pierce, who may literally be more than meets the eye with his presence in the film. In fact, speculation may be that Pierce is actually a front or the movie counterpart of the Russian Aleksander Lukin who controlled the Winter Soldier in the comics. Could be a red herring, but we'll just have to wait and see. For more info, visit the source post at Superherohype.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens on March 26 internationally and April 4 in the US.

Finally, it appears that actor Paul Bettany may have an expanded role after all in Avengers: Age of Ultron... And that could very well be an upgrade from his part as Tony Stark/ Iron Man's A.I. assistant J.A.R.V.I.S. into the synthetic android and Avenger called "The Vision"! As a creation of Ultron, it would certainly make sense for Bettany to become that character, especially with Ultron's origin possibly being modified to be a creation of Stark in the movie instead of Henry Pym/ Ant-Man like in the comics. One can only speculate at this time at what's going to happen, but here's hoping the plot thickens more! For more information, visit the source post at Superherohype.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits on May 1, 2015.
