Since it was announced to be in production with The Dark Knight Trilogy and Man of Steel writer David S. Goyer involved in the project, Syfy's upcoming television series "Krypton" hasn't been updated much bar from the official logo for the film released by the network. That all changes now, as the very first promo for the upcoming TV Pilot has been released, giving viewers a glimpse of the story set about 200 years before the birth of Superman and involving the grandfather of the hero in "Seg-El" - who fights to redeem his house and save his homeworld from chaos.
UPDATE: The YouTube link is now down, so you can check it via Comic Book.com.
No release date has been revealed for "Krypton", but it will hit sometime in 2017 based on the promo's announcement.
